Security Camera problems

On a recent subject we were discussing anti Pikey measures. The quality of any security kit cannot be underestimated especially when it comes to CCTV stuff.

However no matter how good your kit is, its still subject to annoying problems such as those caused by spiders. Fine to watch their art, but a total pest when they cause false triggers with security cameras especially with IR ones at night, as they obscure a lot of the cameras view. ... well not any more .. what you need is this stuff

Spider Spray, Remove Spiders, SpiderEx

You can get it from Amazon for about £9 a tin and it really works I have a quadrant of cameras that are forever getting webbed, and I sprayed the camera bodies (not the lenses) this morning expecting a couple to scuttle off ... so I was quite surprised to see about 25 suddenly drop down from the camera casings!

Now .. to the car wing mirrors

Pity it doesn't have the same effect on Pikeys, you could dispense with the cameras There's an invention waiting to happen; "Pikeycide" hold on, what am I saying

The resident spider in my offside mirror seems to have disappeared. I'm hope that if I take the car's VIN into a main dealer they will be able to supply a new one - or at least a pattern equivalent.
