Show us your Oz Pig.

Shawboy is making me one from an old 15 kg gas bottle here's some pics.
Just needs an old disc brake welding on top for a hotplate and a griddle making so I can burn coal then painting up.

Shawboy has given it a test burn and apparently it throws some heat out.

Top job

I made a wood burner out of an old propane bottle too. After I cut the top out, for the flue, I left it on it's side for three days, to let any excess gas out. When I stood it up to cut the front out, for the hatch, I thought it'd be best to check all the gas was gone, before attacking it with grinder.

So I stood back and lobbed a lit match in to the top. A 2' flame roared out of it for about 10 seconds. I think that was one of the times in my life that I nearly wet myself.

There's some guy on youtube trying to show how its done by attacking the valve with a lump hammer and a fag in his gob

Many years ago some friends of my father tried to remove the top of a cylinder with a gas axe - apparently the cylinder makes quite an effective rocket!

We missed each other at Ullswater, I was in the Motorhome, each time I came over you were on the lake or down the pub, spoke to the young lad that was there.

Must say I did not envy you in those tents, I had the "Blown Air" heating on and was very warm
