Small, Rigid not inflatable boat forum?

Does anyone know of any good ones?

I bought my SIB as an experiment to find out if having my own boat would actually be as much fun as I always dreamt, to decide what type of boat really suited my needs and because it wouldn't crush my ability save for something else if it didn't.

It is as much fun as I dreamt, my boat doesn't suit my needs (this crappy summer isn't helping) and it put a bigger hole in my finances than I ever imagined

Anyway, I have concluded that my next boat needs to meet the following impossible set of conditions:

1) total combined weight <550kg or 1100kg braked
2) combination needs to fit in my garage (about 2m wide x 5m long x 1.8m high)
3) must have a cabin with 2 basic berths
4) is fairly new or new (CE cat C)

The sea-swift 435 or sea hunter 450 almost work but have cuddies that are too short, the spectrum 480 is too big for my garage, the sea jeep is both too big and has too short a cuddie.... please HELP! or point be towards a forum that can?

Thanks

Matt

Thats a very tough ask, you are trying to get an awful lot of boat to fit in a tiny space.

I think I have a suggestion, Its a Quicksilver 430 Cabin. It meets your criteria as long as your 'about 2m beam' will be ok for 2.11m !

You will have more suggestions over on ybw.com Motorboat forum, but beware, you ask for a 10k, 4m weekend boat and they will end up telling you actually want a 150k, 15m yacht

Thanks, that's exactly the type of thing I'm after. Will have to re measure my garage, was a bit over 2m but not much.

Looking your suggestion up I discovered the quicksilver 420 flamingo.. that should fit, It's 1.95m wide.

Time to start saving!
