Something like 60% of the country couldn't get to work yesterday.

I managed to drive from Pwllheli (West Coast) to Hull (East Coast) and back in the snow, in an Audi A6 (2 Wheel Drive) with a trailer and RIB Hull.

Motorways were great! no outside lane, but no one on them.

That was good going then, I was helping a Jag, Audi, Merc and a couple of Focus's last night. They all had performance tyres on that were useless on the road

Was that because of clogged traffic caused by other cars or because you were in a 2wd car?

It's the drivers that think by accelerating harder they'll coax the car into movement. They've clearly never had the thought to try and creep off in 2nd gear very slowly.

I got asked by a colleague to help change their brake light bulb the other day 'cos they couldn't work out how to. After asking whether they'd read the handbook and getting the reply 'no', I said that if they still couldn't do it after reading the book, then I'd be happy to help. Ejits. Too lazy to RTFM. That really annoys me.

Not much in Jersey this time around. And, no the neighbours haven't got major structural problems with their houses leaning over, it's just my wide angle lense!
