Jono,

Thanks for the rant. What brought it on particularly? Was it frustration with Geldorf's antics? Or Blair / Brown cynical media manipulation? This is not a party political rant - I find the Conservatives just as cynical

Last week, whilst enjoying my good fortune and touring areas of Europe not so well visited by “tourists” I came upon a very modest memorial in the mountains for a concentration camp I had never heard of. I suddenly realised how pathetic my moaning was in face of the unbelievable suffering meted out on innocent people. I never appreciated quite how many of these camps existed, nor how many people suffered in them. Makes you think though, doesn’t it…….?
A thoughtful post Jono.

I suppose there are two choices when we come upon incidents of racism...(from the slight to the extreme)...

One is to ignore. And one is to object/do something about it.

(There is a price to pay either way.)

Great bike Jono. Which model ? I have an Adventure 03 model and am thinking of changing for one of the new white end of line models. Any thoughts ?

Just to add my 2 peneth. If you look into it you will find that what might be referring to relates to believers in other faiths, and not Christians. Don't make the mistake of dismissing Christianity because of what "other people" do. Hey, why not look into it. What have you got to lose? If it is a load of rubbish then at least you will come to an informed decision and who knows you may just disc over what the real "big picture" is.

Wrong! But that is pretty much the same line used by every believer of said faith - "it aint me governor, it's them that did it"

I dont think so. New Gs adv arrives this week and we have builders in so... . But I have to be honest with the exception of Johnny Dub and Pythagonal (Ian) I find the rest of the Irish guy's a little tedious. Lately the board content is getting a little stale.Too much beak and bo****ks and not enough bike. I suppose I've been out in the rib on my own too long

Nice christian tolerance, there. Not.

I'm not intolerant of religion, I'm intolerant of religions' intolerance.

I agree, well said Jeff!
It all sounds a bit like the old "If you're not in MY club, you'll rot in Hell" line from most religions, all rather biggoted!

It could be worse Jono!

I was in Stourport on Wednesday removing the Diesel from a Total Garage and I rang home during one of my many breaks. the conversation went like this

Britt 'Wheres Stourport'

RW 'near Hartlebury'

Britt 'why does that name ring a Bell'

RW 'it's where that Bald nobber lives'

Britt 'I thought Grinchy lived in Wolverhampton'

Well done Girl
