SUNDAY/MONDAY STORM and SWELL
Hi all
As I am sure most of you will of heard we are in for some pretty windy weather. What you may not know is that this storm is going to produce some HUGH swell. The fetch, wind and low are all synced to produce something special.
If you are around the west coast of Wales and the SW part of England it could be worth a look.
The good news is with very neap tides there should be like coastal flooding caused by high tides.

My favourite lookout would be Lands End, but can't make it there tmo, so I'll be at St Anns during the worst hopefully, Ships are being evacuated from jetties in the harbour for the shelter of St Brides bay as I type.

Just looking at the Severn Stone wave Buoy. The swell has jumped from 9.8ft at 04:00am to 18.4ft and building rapidly. The beaches are closing out at 10ft at the moment.

It would be great if some of you guys lucky enough to be living by the coast could get some video footage of this huge storm that's coming on Monday, then we could compare who has posted the best footage on here.
Something to keep us rib nobbers entertained on these dark winter nights.

It's feeling like the lull before the storm here. I've battened the hatched the best I can. The SR is hitched to the truck and away from trees.
Porthleven will be large.

Hi all
I have been to Porthleven and Perranpotth on the North coast. Slightly bigger on the north and blown out. How big? I would say out back 12ft bigger on some sets. All that with an outgoing tide you can put a few more feet on that this evening.
I have many photos and I will upload them this evening.
Gusting to 55mph this afternoon hence why Cornwall has only a few trees!
