Sunshine?

Is there anywhere in the coastal part's of the UK that has sun? or that can remember the last time they saw it? id resigned myself to the fact id have to don the drysuit today & put up with being cold & wet but still getting out on the boat then to top it all off we only have about 400 yard's of vis now! . What is that ailement called that is supposed to make you depressed with where you live due to the weather? ive got it! Im go to turn off my phone & just sit in the RIB in the drive under the cover to make myself feel better
Mike.

It was sunny in Brighton yesterday afternoon. It's raining again now though . . .

Crappy weather

I can think of few things that suck worse than lousy weather during the Summer. Sorry for your luck. Not wanting to rub it in our weather during June has been great with very little rain, we could use some. Hope yours changes soon..

I think it's all my fault - I bought a new aircon unit for the office and I have put 303 UV protector on my tubes - no chance of sun now!!!

All I know is that we went out on Saturday - our first real trip - decided to go whatever the weather - and it was really wet and very windy in Chichester. Went out of the harbour and the waves seemed enormous so went around the harbour.

Decided on Sunday to do a few jobs on the boat - as the rain was still raining and the wind was winding. Then we decided to give up and go home for lunch and the sun came out - I think I must be the one scaring off the sun... Sorry

The long range forecast is predicting we will have rain through July and August - looks like we had our summer in April......

I was in Cornwall when that week or so of hot weather kicked off back in April and we spent most of the time in fog and rain (typical of cornwall that time of year) - So I actually can't remember a more rubbish summer than this.

moan moan moan...

Codders - when you hit the magic 10,000 posts mark - are you going to throw a RIBnet party for everyone here?
