T-Shirts

Hi folks. My new (2nd hand) boat is about to arrive (picture below of similar boat) and in readiness for the same I've already started kitting myself out with new toys, gadgets, gear and gizits.

One I'd like to add to this list is a crew t-shirt with a picture of my RIB on the back and her name on the front, you know the type of thing. However, I've tried everywhere to find a decent line drawing of my Zodiac let alone one of a RIB which I could either alter to demonstrate the unique points of mine, i.e the A Frame and Bow Roller, or use straight from the draft.

Does anyone have any line drawings I could use or know of a place, site, company that could assist. Other than that I'm going to commission an artists impression.

Thanks....... MeMe.

You could try doign the following:

Take a nice picture of your RIB in action, preferably getting air or something.

Then wack it in photoshop or some other editing proggy (even a simple one like MS draw) and then play around with the effects. You can usually get a good one that just makes all the dark areas black and the rest transparent (so will be whatever colour you have underneath). This will produce an image that won't be a photo any more but if the pic is right will look quite good. I reckon anyway.

I was playing about ages ago with a mountain bike style T-shirt so I'll post the results when I get home.

I am completely aware that I haven't explained myself very well at all!

Cheers

Tim

Thanks for the.......

....effort Kim. Zodiac offer a similar one with quite a lot of detail (oh yea, that's it), however, it's a side profile I'm after. Thanks again.

MeMe

Have a look a the Promenade tea shirts web Site www.ttshirts.com
If you send tham a good photo of your medline they can scan an image of the rib from it. The quality is very good and you can have boat name etc

quite a few of us in the Isle of Man have shirts from them.

He has scans of Don's Ocean, Allan's (Hairdresser) Scorpion and my old Humber

Also he can take scans direct from the internet ie Honda Zodiac badges etc

Hope this helps

Dave

ps did your old med1 come from MGA if so I think it was the rib owned by John Robinson, He kept it at Pwllheli.

...thanks Guys (except F.B) all the above is gratefully received, thanks. Nick - good job, how did you do that ?

Fred, yep in Abersoch this weekend - no boat thoght

Yea, a Focus looks a little light for a 6 mtr RIB. I hope I mayself can manage with an A4.

My Med 1 originated from MGA but back in 2001. The original owner was the first and no, it wasn't your mate. She's now gone to Treada Bay on Anglesea.

Mine is arriveing in October some time.
