The Catch

Anyone who hasn't seen it, it's a fly on the bulkhead programme about Cornish fishermen, you know the kind of prog; best viewed with the sound off Anyway, is it just me, or would the skipper of the Gevernak (sp?) have more success contacting the foreign skippers on the VHF, who are (allegedly) ragging his nets, if he actually switched the feckin thing on

I saw the Brixham edition, not seen the Newlyn one. I used to buy out of Newlyn and indirectly know a few of the skippers. Was Jack Nowell's old man included? They're local celebs these days. ;-)

I'm not really sure that if foreign trawlers were ripping through my nets whilst I was close by, I'd risk setting the net for 2 days and leaving them as they did on the programme!
