Someone has definately done that - just can't find the link...

Now you know why the preferred rig of choice is black sinking line, marked with an official 5l Yanmar oil bottle (black, obviously) that you can't see until you are unwrapping it from your prop... 'cos otherwise someone'll nick it...!!

When I was running trips up the coast, the local lobster fisherman speciifically asked me to run through his fleets because it stopped people thieving from his pots... so a common problem!! He used sinking rope - so no snagging in three years...!!
