The only Superyacht I would want

The "superyacht" My Lars arrived in Poole early this morning.
It is a converted Tug and has in my opinion been tastefully converted. Give me this any time instead of a Sunseeker! For sale to at £7.2m

Details can be found on the following, impressive stuff

Motor Yacht - Lars - Stemat BV - Completed Superyachts on Superyacht Times .com

Why would you want to spend that kind of cash for something so slow and bulky .. manouverable yes, and spacious .. I'd think you have to be a pipe and slippers specialist who enjoys tugging .. hold on... someones just come to mind and he's not even a member here yet

Must admit if I had £7.2m to spend on a super yacht I'd want something less 'tug-like'. Can't help but feel it reminds me of the first ship on scene in the Poseidon Adventure!

For 7.2 I'd have had the the Arl Royal for 3.9 and had a bit of cash to tart it up.

I did some work on this a couple of weeks ago.

http://www.seawolfexpedition.com/

Stunning and so much character and history including a few world records for tugging. Has all its original engines, generators and running gear. Main engines tick over at 90rpm!! Was interesting chatting to the skipper about bringing the thing alongside etc. In its previous life it would of been manoeuvred by tugs itself!

That's nice. Good name too

How much power do you need to tow two aircraft carriers?!
