It's not you know, it's a TV show with the redoubtable Lionel Blair and Una Stubbs.
Now, are you going to tell us what's in The Times then?

Something else entirely?

Eupa - for those of us that don't have a copy of the times handy can you give us some more info? Or preferably a link to the article on the times website.

I guess you mean the same story that was on BBC London news last night. I'm pleased to hear that the matter has come to a close... I'm just not sure whether to shout congratulations or just breathe a quiet sigh of relief for a friend.

Aha!! Found it, took a while to establish the relevance but that's got to be good news for INNOCENT parties who suffer this sort of allegation.
My best mates 15 year old son has just had the same thing but, fair play to Hampshire Constabulary, they investigated the whole thing very thoroughly, found out it was a fabrication by an attention seeking 16 year old who'd cried wolf before and he's now in the clear.
The downside is that for every woman that cries wolf there is a victim that is reluctant to come forward as a result of concerns that she will be believed and that is an injustice as well!

Being an ignorant bastard I don't read the Times, but from Richard's comment I deduce that it's about Jan Falkowski who had been falsely accused of rape by a stalker.
Jan was cleared a year ago, but yesterday the stalker was found guilty of harassment and charges of threats to kill. Looks like she'll be inside for quite a while.
Jan's been interviewed on TV about it so it's hardly a secret. More details here: http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/england/london/5239656.stm

No-one said it was a secret. I just thought it relevant for people who happened to know Jan and who knew what he had been going through. Thankfully this nightmare has finally come to an end. Interestingly The Times touched on his record-breaking exploits but no mention of the particular vessel.

I thnk it was done in Chris's boat with Gordon and ?
Reading between the lines I gather Jan went out to Monaco to complete the monaco-UK leg.
They were talking about it at RIBEX and the other week in Alderney.

I know Brian, I was referring to The Times making no mention of this. You can read all about it here under the heading Press Releases.
