Ahhhh .. good evening gentlemen .. another weekend is upon us ... and for me .. the sampling of some fine whiskey is the reward ... tonight I have to show you that even if you find some drams repellant, somewhere, in all of us, like any compassionate relationship ... you foist your opinions aloft .. and try again
And the brew tonight (or its variant) is a firm favourite of one of our members .. so passionate is he, that he will sit in a freezing caravan, and sup ,, as long as he has some.
I am not so brave .. the only one that does it for me is the 'prophecy' of the current JURA's available
but what a dram it is .. Ive championed it before .. normally its a £53 a bottle but it gets chopped to £42 in the supers every so often as it is now .. aromatic .. peaty , salty , but spicy with bourbon on the back ....go try
Legend has it that you pour the dram , with the symbol on the bottle in your palm and you will be bestowed with great wealth

The Whisky Thread
Haven't tried Prophecy, is it as peaty as Superstition?
Try as I may I just can't get to grips with the peaty element of it. I'm obviously not old enough yet.
Tonight I'm on my lovely home brew Scottish Export with a Port chaser.
Bring on EBay!!

I'm so glad you like it after you gave it a second chance. Although I like it too I must confess to preferring Superstition.
Do I know the member who puts himself through such hell?
Hope you had a good night and the headache is not to bad.

Guys
A question from an enthusiatic 'amateur'.
Have any of you an informed opinion to offer on either the Singleton 'Tailfire' or 'Sunray'?

Aye, but look at the SIZE of it!
Remember that despite the rumours, he's half English too so his use of a Pimms Goblet has to be excused
