I wise man once told me that the pipes always sound much better accompanied by the right malt. He wouldn't tell me which malt, just said that the searching and sampling are the bits that make the skirling so much more bearable.

Yip...I tried to get the three of them to wear life jackets, the camera was being moved up and down as I towed the boat past, with another bloke trying to throw water at them.

Dara's the one to go for a beer with.

Ian a guid new year to you and yours. Nice to see a good Ribcraft on the telly for a change instead of these irish thingys!! Boat looking really good even out of water. Were you not involved more in the filming? sandy of Venture West said he had a whale of a time with them.

Hi Billy,

Happy new year to you too

Yes it was a good laugh..although GRJ supposedly is a boaty bloke...knows nothing about ribs.

The 'Fyfe' they were on in the race was a beautiful boat.

Only had a chance to watch the first couple of minutes - the rest will need to wait 'till later - but was that "Raven" from here on the trailer at the start?

super programe but the best part was the whisky drinking
if a 15 year old malt then one must hold in ones mouth for 15 seconds to enjoy it. I have followed that advice and yes you get to feel and enjoy the taste but best to enjoy by repeating for a few 15 seconds - that was not mentioned

Is it ok to say this?
