Three Men Go to Scotland - Redbay advert
Is it just me or does anyone else think the Redbay driver deserves a pint?

I do, but I also thought that the Rdebay was meant to be a dry ride?
I have to say that is still one of the locations I want to take my own RIB, in my top 20 things to do before I go "downstairs"

Sorry Wilk but your really needed to have seen the program. Essentially during a drive through the corryvreckan it was artfully arranged for the three intrepid reporters to get a wee drenching.

Oh I think the stick was used perfectly, even managed to set off the "Stormforce" lifejackets (yet another nice bit of product placement).

Ah it was nice to see my cruising ground on the telly. Sandy the owner of Venture West did a good job especially the dunking!! I was up there when they were filiming it was a great spell of weather we saw them going off from CH in the race fantastic sight. Sandy certainly made the most of the Corry that was there that day, personally I would have liked to have seen it a little more exciting just to see how they would have reacted!!

Finally
I just saw it. That trip reminds me of my run up there this season - they even sat at the same table in Craighouse
Fairly impressive footage of the 11m. Great advertising indeed. As regards a dry ride, I notice that the skipper kept his teeshirt dry the whole way through

Thanks to the Gotchdad, I've just realised that the BEEB, in their Infinite Wisdom, pinched a Davey Spillane (the superb Irish Uillean Piper) composition called for the opening scenes for this Scottish showcase series.
Have yis No Shame???

I suppose the powers that be in the Beeb think that since it sounds Celtic it will do nicely. Mind you, no complaints from me as it is a fantastic piece of music and suits the scenery so well.
