Time waster - Tyre Kickers - Best Excuse

Just had two weeks of a guy pishing me and my broker about over an accepted offer on my boat. First he wanted to pay by credit card, then he didn't like the 1.8% surcharge, then he had to move some investments so he could pay by debit card, then his wife was ill, then his cat died and he had to pay the vet, then he was late for an appointment and couldn't talk, then his phone number is no longer available! What a tosser and a waste of time!! What's your experience of time wasters? Go on... give us a laugh!

sound just like what I told the plumber last week when he said "you need a new boiler". I told him "I have a boat to sell". Thanks for the laugh Nos.

PS. hope to meet again in the near future once new boat is sorted.

I had this guy turn up to buy a 14' fibreglass clinker fishing boat with a 40 Evinrude I had. He offered this and that, wanted to exclude the life jackets then include them bla bla bla......He just wore me down and we ended up doing a deal for cash for well below what I wanted, but was forced to sell as I was using my parents driveway for storage.

He drove off with trailer hitched to the back of his Granada MK2. I thought, thank God! and went off to make a cuppa.

10 mins later there's a knock at the door. I open it and it's him standing there.

"The wheel on the trailer's seized just down the road" he says. I said, "well, what do expect for the money you paid me" and shut the door in his face. He was never seen again.

For over two weeks, every time I went past the 40' skid mark left on the road I had a little grin to myself

I work nights as a chef. Can I come and get the bike off you and ride it to work. I'll bring it back in the morning and if I like it I will buy it off you.
