I know I am a newbie here and the topic is definitely questionable, but a suggestion maybe a similar setup to pwcforums.
There they have a pub section, which is invitation only for >18s and is a place where the more controversial threads can be aired. They too have limits on content but it is kept away from the main discussions.

You may make that two (or more), P-D. As you have decided to air your dirty linen in public, it's worth mentioning that the post in question was "reported" by one of the other members.
