Hi Ben, A friend of mine had similar issues with a perforated bowl and had to have a colostomy, she eventually had a successful op in London that fixed the previous attempts and has now had the colostomy reversed. Keep thinking positively mate, you WILL get through this !

Hello all, quick update and thank you to all that wished me well. First: thank you!
Secondly:
I've had my reversal operation, having had the colostomy bag removed and am now back on mainline plumbing. Other than a few nasty memories and a stomach that looks like it's stopped a frag grenade, I'm pretty much up and running.
