Hi Steve
Thanks for letting me know.
Apologies to anyone that's messaged me / is waiting on replies.
My eldest daughter collapsed and was hospitalised a couple of weeks ago, so of late I have been spending the majority of my waking (and some sleeping) hours in a the QA paediatric ward. Ergo, work has taken a bit of a back seat of late. However, I'm starting to catch up a tad now.
If anyone needs me my mobile number is 07921 853190 and email is mail@compasstrailers.com
I can't promise to answer, but I'll do my best to return your calls as soon as I can.
Kind regards, Ben

Met Ben today, lovely guy, great shame about his daughter.
Such a shame, I hope he doesn't mind me telling people but she's only 13 and doctors do not know whats wrong.
Hope she has a speedy recovery.

Nightmare. My youngest is around the same age and just the thought of going through what you are experiencing turns my stomach. I hope you get a positive resolution and soon.

That's crap Ben. My eldest spent two weeks in QA a while back. They never found what the issue was.
Anything outside of her and the ward just didn't exist for two weeks. Stressful and tiring . Fingers crossed for you and family.
Pete

Sorry to hear this Ben, hope she gets better soon!
I was just trying to meet up with you as I ended up down your way, but as your last work was so well the trailer did another 600miles without any issues.

Hi all, thank you for your kind words. It's all rather odd and I've been surviving on nicotine and adrenaline of late. You just feel so ineffectual impotent. Things are starting to get back on track now; she's out of hospital at least, though we're none the wiser as to what it wrong.
Steve - I'm upset you doubted my abilities! Glad all is well with the trailer still. Got to be a few thousand miles on it now?..

Hahaha!! No offence taken, so no apology required!
Or maybe, conversely, I should have started the home-surgery on her when she was younger and now she'd have the immune system of an alligator and constitution of an ox, just like her old man?!...

Well she's back in again. Doctor was convinced it was acute appendicitis, so packed her off to hospital.
Surgeon that examined her is adamant that it most certainly isn't. Now investigating kidneys, bowel, bladder etc.
On a brighter note, when the ex wife was filling out the associated and inevitable paperwork (why we have to do this every time, as we've nearly lived there for the past five weeks, is beyond me) in 'father's occupation' she wrote "trailer guy"
So I guess it's official now and certainly made the little one smile!
