Any one got any cost effective ideas how to get to the Island Prefereably from the french coast. got a collegue who needs to go there to look at a boat.

Not sure there is anything cost effective these days. Best bet might be a ferry to Guernsey then flight up, or maybe ferry to Cherbourg then Lady Maris across (if she is running). Failing that find someone with a ppl and see if they fancy a trip over. Not sure if the Alderney flying club will take passengers but whoever's selling the boat might know someone who knows someone.
