Trawler Sea Bird was finally brought to the surface and returned to The Camber dock last night. Still taking on water so run up the slipway until a thorough inspection can be made of the hull. I don't think she looks too bad considering the time she's been on the sea bed and the recent weather we've had. However, seeing as the engine was running when she went down, rumour is she'll be an insurance write-off ................... Project anyone?

Stern gland not tightened properly i'll bet, after refit of new shaft probably. and then exaggerated by not inspected whilst underway, Maybe?
Retighten stern gland, Strip and wd4o the engine and she'll be fine,
