The Wodden Spoon only applies to those who dont try (forgive the pun please , its not intended) You did great and frightened the shit out of many.
Even today, you looked great for a while and you brought the game to them.
We over thank you for trying and you certainly did that...
You have some very fine players even if you feel you do not have a team..
The Wooden Spoon???? Nah! there were no loosers in this years 6 Nations..

I think special mention has to go to Italy - they have gone from being a joke to being a serious threat - always liked the Italians!!!

Yep they played some good stuff , I sometimes wonder if the Scotland Italy match will turn up on 'what happend next' in question of sport, though, when the departing 'sub' Italy player got the ball dropped on his head from a great height
Cheers Aidan you are right, there were some great matches and and fine play from all the teams. Thrilling right till the last minute. As usual some dodgy refs decisions though, sending off the wrong player in the last Scotland France match, we never saw the grounding of the try that meant Ireland lost either, and Wales thinking they could play on at the end of the match cos the ref told them they could !!
Great stuff

The wager was to do 'better' than Ireland in the RWC. 'Better' or 'beat', Yep, name your money. We know we've got a hell of a lot to do. Ireland actually think their really quite good. All the 6 nations are really struggling at the moment, not one came close to dominating the other 5. NZ,SA and Aus will play mind games and talk you guys up.

You could be right, I would be a bit concerned at the way the forwards were beaten in the Scrums and Line outs, They will have to get these bang on if they are to be a threat to the boys down under.
In any event Mollers, We will all look forward to it and if teh day comes and none of us can do it, you will find us defending our nearest neighbours who ever they may be.....
After all, there possibly is more Irish in England at this stage than any other Nationlity.

Aiden,in waxing on about the Irish efforts in the 6 nations you've failed to notice the far more remarkable fact that Ireland managed to beat Pakistan in the cricket ODI World Cup. And, in doing so, knocked them out of the tournament. Now that was a result.
