Tube paint!!!
Just a thought has anyone ever use the paint for sale for putting on PVC or Hypolon tubes?
I have bought rib restore and that works well for me. Would n't your tubes look all tacky and bodged if you had to paint them?

Hi my tubes are OK but I was wondering if painting the tubes would make faded and worn tubes look good or even worse.

Its a quick fix
they may look good when they are painted but it does not look good after a while. I wouldn't do it

Mine was painted lo-o-o-o-ng before I bought it. Badly. The stuff came off in sheets, apart from where for some reason the paint was applied properly, where it just looks like dirty Hypalon.
On the "better vs not" argument mine are now down to the fibre in places (as I discovered when I peeled the flaking paint), so I am going to paint it eventually, because even a paint job will look better than it does at the moment. (A few on here who have seen Wildheart will know what I'm on about)
......Unless I win the lottery tomorrow in which case I'll just retoob it!

If they are painted its a very good job - I looked at 2 yesterday and didn't even consider that they might be painted.

Do not forget that when we paint any material always have to spend a coat of primer. Thus we have the right result

Biff,
What's the product you use?
My tubes are on their way to needing some attention.
