TV Telephone and Broadband
Just wanted to be a little nosey and wanted to know what sort of packages RIBnetters where on.
The cheapest for my needs are TalkTalk 3 for the phone and broadband and keeping my Sky basic.

Andy,
Do you have cable where you live. They tend to offer the best packages.

I looked at cable as I have access to it. The package that suited my family was £40/month for all the above. However broadband was slower at 2Mbps and telephone was free weekend and evening instead of the free 24/7 of the taktalk. However the clincher on not getting cable was that my missus and Kids watch programs only available on Sky and that pretty much dictates the format of seperating my digital tv and phone/broadband.
PS Nick, I've found some SS at work, a little thinner than hoped and not sure about it grade. But it is used for machine guarding and looks nice and is free to you. I'll have a go in the next couple of days and let you know how I get on....Are you sure about that angle?

Andy,
The angle is correct as far as my kids protractor thing goes. Does it seem right to you. If you think its a strange angle I'll measure it again tomorrow.
PS. Wish we had the choice of cable here. I'd be telling the kids and missus what to watch. I always thought all the Sky channels were on cable. Maybe its not as good as I thought then.

Other side of the pond
Good subject.
We have cable. Tel, broadband, and TV ( TV is approx 30 useful channels, inc. BBC America, plus a load of crap). Cost has been $99.00 (us) per month, for "the bundle" Just been advised that it will increase $3.00(us) pcm. We also have AT#T international @ $12.00 per month + $0.25 per min. All long distance in country long distance calls are done evenings and week ends free via mobile phone. We are about to cancell the AT&T service and convert to Skype ( VOIP) @ $29.95 per year.

I am with NTL - have 20mb unlimited broadband - free phone calls to landlines and most channels excluding sports and prime films. Total cost is currently about £30 - I had probs with them in the past so I am getting this awesome broadband for £9.99 a month!!!

Andy, we got BT home hub with 8meg. Also free evening and weekend calls via the hub. Pay on average £18 per month all in (inc bt landline). Got a basic package on sky ie no movies or sky sports but our lass pays that one so dont know what the cost is .
Got rid of crappy NTL last year. After 8years of being a customer they still wanted to treat it's customer like sh*t

Codders, that's a really good deal! I don't think I'd get that as a new customer unless I had problems too.
Martin, that's also quite cheap (for BT) to include a BT hub and landline telephone, that includes line rentle too?
I think I will stick to my guns and go Talktalk at £20/month, as I can't seem to find anything cheaper around here. The disadvantage is that it's not going to go live until middle/late February.

What problems did you have? I'm wondering if I can't replicate them and get a free upgrade
