Looking for someone to convert a car into a van!

Somewhere on the south coast. (Poole)

I have been trying to get hold of a mg zr express but being so rare I was thinking of buying a normal zr and just converting it!

Just after a quote for now

I'm looking into starting my own small photography business. Part of that I want to do automotive photography.

I love mgs! They are also rare & different. I want to modify it to a 'show car' take it to shows, car meets etc

Like having a fancy work van!!

Just take the seats out & plate the windows up

I don't think you'll get a factory look as the panel has a raised profile, as PD said you could plate the side windows by having a flat panel tig welded in as there wont be any need to grind the welds off after if it's done well.

The easiest option would be to remove the rear seats and have the rear glass wrapped in hopefully the same colour as the car?

This what they look like.
Every now and then the window panels come up for sale so could respray them. But very rarely!!

The back window is left glass. The only difficult bit would be finding different interior plastics and carpet to fit around the arches etc. Also levelling the floor

Not sure if a company can mound the carpets to shape or not?

Just struggling to find one

Yes, I built a camper and used the special carpet and it's quite easy to do.

Luke, don't forget to befriend a good welder to weld the floor pan back in when it falls out and an auto electrician to put right the dodgy electrics.
My mate bought one brand new in 2002.
Within 3 months he got rid.
A comedy of mechanical failures had ensued previously.
I'll never forget opening the passenger door and snapping the handle off in my hand.
Thought my mate would go ape but he just rolled his eyes and said drivers handle snapped a couple of days ago too😂
