In the project view there's basically three windows - one shows your videos stored on the machine, another your 'projects':videos you've edited (stitched together) and saved, a third has tools for titling and music etc.
Simply highlight the sections you want from videos you've shot and drag into your project. iMovie joins them together automatically. You can rearrange the order, add music and titles and change how one clip fades or whatever into the next. Honest, it's very simple.
There's an Apple on-line tutorial...takes about 15 mins to go through the several steps. Give it a go before buying something else

On head strap ...... Will mount on either the A frame or the windscreen frame (aft helm on the Pac) I think.....

Two film crews that we've worked with us in the past year have also used GoPro (one given to the 'celebrities' whilst snorkelling, the other used on a simple pole with a 'wildlife' docu crew....) Never saw the footage, but if it's good enough for them.....

Looks good to me
Interesting, you seem to get more of an impression of the boat moving around using the headcam than you get when the camera is 'A' frame mounted.

I thought that too, I was getting quite queasy, just like being there. The boat was rolling about but the horizon was pretty stable. I think that's also exaggerated by the semi fisheye lens on the gopro. Can't wait to try mine out in anger, were off skiiing next week so I hope to give it a try out.

Agreed....on station we have a headcam which often goes out on the D Class and a fixed Aframe Cam on the '75.... You can be out in a stinker and the fixed cam can make it all look very sedate.... the other way around with the headcam

I'm almost there with the camera however just need to find out what computer requirements i need to run it. Looking on the go pro website they ask for a minimum of



For Windows-based computers, we require:

• Windows Vista or later
• 3.2 GHz Pentium 4 or faster
• Direct X 9.0c or Later
• At least 2 GB of system RAM
• Video card with at least 256MB of RAM

I however have a laptop with a much smaller processor so thats no good but i do have a desktop with Windows 7, and a pentium 2.7ghz Pentium 4 Processor.
I will need to up my ram which is cheap enough.

I dont want to buy the camera if the computer wont handle it. Although could just get a new computer. Agreeed by wife if she can use the camera show jumping.

My question is chaps, do you think the 2.7ghz will be enough to run the camera. What are you guys using.

Yep, brand new 32gB Class 10 card. This was my thought as well but not sure how I would fix this, surely a class 10 card is a class 10 card?

Have you updated the firmware on the gopro? There's a new release out that it asked me to do when I installed the cineform software. I don't know what improvements are in the update. Which card is it that you're using? Have you tried different resolutions & frame rates? Hark at me, I sound like I know what I'm on about

Made with windows Movie maker and a Veho Muvi about £100 inc all mounts ,the quality not helped on this clip as there is a water droplet on the casing.

i'm nearly ready to get my video of the RIB with my gopro2, the difference over a normal video is my other hobby is RC helis so i built an AV platform to carry a gopro so will be getting overhead shots shortly all going well.

this is the first video i took-it is a lot smoother now but i've maxed out vimeo for this weeks allowance-will post more in due course.

ps remember to clean your lens before filming (note to self)
