Thanks Martini.

New computer ordered today, built to spec, quad core processor, 750gb hard drive, 8gb memory etc etc. Hopefully that will cope nicely with 1080 @ 60FPS.

Go Pro? 1080 @ 30fps NTSC (US format); 25fps PAL (UK format)

Good point, well presented.

Should be able to cope with 1080 and also 60 fps rather that 1080 @.

Its working nights this week thats sent me off the rails. Either that or its an age thing...

Got my gopro, now just waiting the arrival of new computer with windows 7.

I see a few people are using windows live movie maker for editing. i'm going to use the same as i've messed around and found how to get smooth time lapse and slow motion with ease and dont think i'm quite ready for loads of features yet.

However does anyone know if you can just download the raw video from the gopro straight to movie maker on windows 7? As on my current vista version on the laptop i have to use gopro's cineform software first and convert the video which is very time consuming.

I use movie maker and by attaching Go Pro camera to desk top it can down load direct to movie maker

Well gents. I plan to capture some close up waterskiing and the wife plans to capture some horse riding.

Now if i was to capture the horse waterskiing would that be enough "action" ??????.

Of course I'd have to throw in a bit of the bow.....

When I did my apprenticeship a chap brought a horse to us on the back of a pick up truck straight through Halifax town centre and we had someone bring a pony on the back seat of a ford zephyr

Attention Gopro users

I've uploaded a handy chart of the go pro settings/menu options (clicky below)

I've printed one off at around 1/2 A4 size and laminated it to keep in my go pro kit bag for quick reference, it's just about the right size.

gopro instructions

Ummm I found it ok, got in a bit of a muddle but then again the only thing I have used it for was to slow a clip down as messing about i filmed an orange being dropped into a bowl of water

Having said that when I edited the Poole cruise video I just slowed it down in imovie, not perfect but job done..
