Video Capture

I'm trying to capture some programs off I player to put on my Media Drive. I son't know much about what software to use any advice is welcome?

do what i do and get the teenager to do it they have a rotten attitude but good with gadgets

I don't do it but Gotchidad uses this with success: get_iplayer | Linuxcentre

Can be a bit fiddly though sometimes I believe.

Your not meant to, every time an app comes along that lets you they update the iPlayer to stop you.

You may not be meant to but we all pay our license fees (well I don't, obviously ) for these shows to be made so why on earth should we not be able to download them!? It's just the same as recording it onto a tape or storing it in the Sky planner. The best thing will be when the USB port in even the oldest Sky + boxes is activated so you can copy shows straight onto computers.
