Vote for the best supplier and service

On a positive note lets start a thread where you can post to show where you have had very good/exceptional service as this will help folks locate suppliers who have provided great service.

not marine related but photography....

Nikon and Sigma. Both top notch, I struggle to fault them. Its a pitty more companies don't take a leaf out fo their books.

Marine related = JG Technologies. Spoken to the boss and he seems pretty genuine.

And you get the product you order next day delivery for no extra.

Does what it says on the tin.

Got my vote.

Easyjet, held the plane for 12mins for me last year at Faro airport. As for Ryanair?! Money grabbing, couldn't give a shite bunch of B*******!! I'd rather walk than fly with them!

i have had a lot of dealings with various suppliers recently and they have all been most excellent

Ribcraft for toobs

Ron Hale Marine for engine and boat bits

Marine Fabrications for stainless steel

Protex for special fastners

SBS for boat trailer

Osprey for providing a hull all to my spec

mastertrim for upholstery

seastar steering from hypro marine

to be honest it has renewed my faith in some small companies who are willing to go the extra mile and be very competitive and very friendly and helpful to boot.

a lot of companies that i did not place business with were extremely helpful as well, lots of engine suppliers were very helpful but i chose ron hale for a variety of reasons.

it is nice to know that there are some companies that do want your business, however small

RIBCRAFT

Undisputed champions of the RIB Manufacturing world.

(Well to me they are anyway)

It will be a hell of a boat or a hell of a deal that tempts me away from buying from them again when the time comes.

John Bridger Marine Exeter

had all the sib's i was interested in in stock as demmo for me to see .
Happy to talk and advise at length on the phone
deflated and inflated demmo boat in the shop with the electric pump I wanted
spent time with full demmo of my new engine in the test tank and ran through everything i needed to know . I felt I knew it well on first trip
Called me as soon as order arrived
Did a super deal on my new boat and other bits , prices as good as anywhere on the web without having to haggle .

5*

Ok, I have a couple...

Marine related:

My outboard engines are being looked after by warsash marine now, they are now yamaha dealers - and offer a very excellent service, couldn't be happier with them!

Non marine:

Maplin, they have an outstanding delivery service, I have ordered things up to a least 6 o clock, and they have been there before 8am the next morning.

American Marine were brilliant for mariner parts - next day delivery and much cheaper than other quotes from outboard shops
