thank you everyone, you will never know just how much RIBnet has helped me & Jayne & Andrew get through this crap, your good wishes are very much appreciated

don't mind sharing Biffer, one thing going through all this teaches you is there's nowt to be embarrassed about or to hide hopefully I'm on the road to recovery now, this op was to reverse the illiostomy and put my bowel back to normal, so I should at least be able to eat normally and not worry too much about what I can have, although still need to take it steady with beer etc had some good news recently, seems the shadows on the kidney isn't cancer, it's just a cist, not sure what the plan is with that yet, but it's a huge relief to know its not another cancer

time to look forward now, a new year brings a fresh start, I can get back to work ( still doing a 3 day week of course, got a liking for that now ), I can get back to doing some off roading , nowt too rough but still get the fresh air, and a new boating season of course, only trouble is shall I take the SR4 or the Revenger ................

keep up the good work you ribnobbers
