Anyone into some jazz guitar listen to this guy.... Martin Taylor... The Album currently I'm listening to is 'Double Standards'
He's a great bloke who'm I've met many times ..... he's played with Stephane Grappelli amongst many others
He has an abilty to play two different riffs simoultaneosly .. how he does it I just dont know .. worth a listen... if its your thing Although I know on this album he has said some were overlaid tracks .. a fine admission from a true specialist you got to hear it to see what I mean If you were a stock broker .. youd put money on this guy ..

Seen him a couple of times and have a couple of his albums. first jazz guitarists I got into was Wes Montgomery and Barney Kessel I like jazz a lot particularly when it meets the blooz but I cant stand squeeky jazz. (woow groovy)
Newton Faulkner, Snooks Elgin, and Stevie Ray Vaughn on the long drive to your homeland tonight

We've seen a fair bit of Newton F. Although he originates from the home counties area, his career first took off in Cornwall. He became very popular on the surf scene, I saw him for the first time supprting Donovan Frankenreiter ( Pro free surfer, big mates with Jack Johnson, now a very popular musician, again on the surf scene) before the 'Robots' album was released. He still plays some tiny venues around here despite his huge success.

I've got relatively happy feet so I couldn't dislike TRad and I love New Orleans
Jazz and swing. The stuff that doesn't get me is where the mathematics of the music is more important than the melody. It might be called Avante Garde.
NF has a fine voice doesn't he.

Tonight
Fats Rogueio is listening to 'Live from Austin' by Fats Domino and 'Back on Top' by Van Mottison
Tomorrow night I'm going to see Paul Barrerre and Fred Tacket (2 of the finest musicians ever to grace a rock stage) playing in a pub in Portsmouth. result I'll yake an extra tenner with me and maybe I can buy a football club
