No, I fit suspended ceilings so i use it to fix the perimeter trim around the wall (brick/block/concrete)

Without one you have to either manually nail with masonry nails or dril and use hammer fix.

Actual Dewalt Steve……..not the cheapest but decent enough quality for my limited use. Have been keeping an eye on some of the copies but haven’t bought any, so can’t really advise.

I did plan on making an adapter, but have never got around to it yet!
For now we just open the valve to inflate then just quickly close it…..and that does the job ok.

A friend has to keep his smaller sib deflated in his flat, and uses his blower to dry it down a bit after a quick wash and before packing it away at the harbour, until the next time he uses it.

I was in 2 minds to just buy a cheap generic no name blower with its own batteries, but because I’ve already bought into the Dewalt brand, just ended up buying the blower and 5ah battery on a special deal at Screwfix.

Battery last for several inflation/deflations.

Hi Brin, I've ordered a cheap generic blower that's compatible with the Milwaukee batteries. I'll give my thoughts when I've used it.

My leaf blower is nearly as big as a 6hp outboard... we can't be talking of the same thing surely?

I don't think so. I think it's more of a dust blower! which if it is will be good for work and hopefully inflating the sib. We shall see when it arrives.

Maybe that why Steve's looking for a smaller lighter sib David......thrusters with 2 leaf blowers strapped to the transom

Scouse version of an Everglades Airboat.

I can picture it now gliding across the mud in the Mersey.

I see over on Youtube a few have tried but with limited success. Needs next level Harry Dwyer development.

Well it arrived, my cheap blower. Thought the box was empty when I unpacked it as it's so light! A little bit disconcerting when even the manufacturer calls it a "hairdryer" in the instructions!
I've used it, and to be fair it's quite a powerful little thing which appears to move a lot of air. The manufacturer claims 1.6 mtr/minute, that's over 1500 litres/minute which I don't believe.
Halkey Roberts adapter fits snuggly in one of the nozzles. It'll be a few weeks before I try it on the sib, time will tell if it's £18 well spent.
