What's the latest Codprawn?

Any news on your completion date Codders? Spring is just around the corner. You're a very patient guy, I'd be camping on the guys front lawn by now. How long has it been since they started production?

Now that’s an impressive gestation period…..even for UK boat builders… it’ll be out of warranty before it sees the water… seriously… discounting a couple of months for your part.. what on earth caused such ridiculous delays? I mean my boat was a month or so late on a three-month delivery…and I thought that was bad…..

You'll have to hook her up and drag her down to Cornwall in the summer to hook up with those Cornish guys and take the "P" out of the Jardon Marine Disco Pleasure cruiser when that turns up.

HMS Codders

Codders, after all this time I bet you you are getting excited!

What are you going to do, rib back to the Solent then trail her back to South Wales? I reckon you could get an honour guard of ribnetters to turn out for your triumphant arrival!

Looks like I may be doing the whole trip under power.....

Original plan is to spend some time in Guernsey trying it out - then across to Weymouth and trailer home.

Choice of 2 locations where I keep the boat - either Burryport or Swansea - unless I manage to find an old empty barn!!!

I did try to buy a Church but the deal fell through - Gavin got there first - seriously though I was really peed off - they sold it to a charity instead - I mean what could be a better cause than storing a RIB???

Boat is an 8.5m(8.8) Prosport with a Suzuki 225 on a transom jack.

As to the waiting time - watch this space!!!

Surely this guy has been knocking out other boats in the 2 year period that he's had yours? Otherwise he'd not make a bean. Does anyone else have experience of him? By the look of the workshop he's hardly "mass production".

Aisle imagine It would certainly be a handy place to do any Altarations or fitting anything to the transcept.

If you are pulling it out at Weymouth one of the tugs I work on is based down their, so if you need a place for an SSS and a hand with the recovery PM and I'll send you a number. They owe me favours so it won't cost you anything

Our experience was a month of eratic quotes, many hours spent trying to contact him by telephone and flights out to guernsey to see the boats and take a sea trial.

When we got there it took 2 hours to find Jason, no one was answering the workshop phone, he wasn't answering his mobile and the address on the website was wrong.
The sea trial wasn't possible and when we sat down to settle the deal the price had changed from the latest quote he'd sent us.
At this point we dropped it and went to a different manufacturer.

If you search for Prosport you'll find a handful of thread about them.

Thanks very much for that Rogue - when I find out what I am doing may take you up on that.
