Who's on Facebook?
I know some people think it's the spawn of the devil and others love it - we're on BananaShark FB page and if you haven't caught up with me yet I'm here.

Its sad to say that websites are a thing of the past. We are on FB and Twitter
Last week we topped 211000 views, we never managed that amount with our website

I resisted for years /hated the idea of it, but am a convert.... We have a group Log In | Facebook where we post up commercial charter stuff, sightings and marine conservation things, and have just set up a 'Fan Page' for the tripping boat 'Razorbill Seasafari' which is going live in May..... So bu**er all on there at the moment except a gallery of wildlife etc.... Log In | Facebook
Have just started to use twitter too, but tbh don't see the appeal as yet....will use it when afloat to report sightings as they happen I suppose....
Oh, have connected to / liked your pages guys... Will have a proper nosey at some point, but for now am off to the Lifeboat shed

We're on Facebook at Welcome to Facebook - Log In, Sign Up or Learn More, and also on twitter (occasionally!) at Stormforce Coaching (@Stormforce_UK) on Twitter.
Every Monday morning the boss comes in and delightedly or dejectedly reports how many new Facebook followers we've gained at the weekend - it's definitely a powerful media to connect to a big audience.
If any of the companies on RibNet want to favourite our page, please do let me know so that I can favourite your page back.
Do any companies on RibNet use FacebookConnect to allow people to log in to their site? Facebook experienced some problems in Europe earlier in the week, and there were a few businesses (non marine) that relied almost completely on the FBConnect mechanism, without having a backup login service of their own; it certainly caused them a few problems.

Likewise, we've added you to our Page's favourites.
I'm not sure whether the BananaShark is a particularly appropriate craft for Powerboat Level 2 training to be honest, but I'm sure it's something our customers can aspire to!

I accidentally signed my wife up to their page (she hadn't logged out and I clicked "become a friend"). She now gives me regular updates on how things are in Cushendall. I imagine its a bit like being married to Willk!
