I remember talking to someone at Uni a few years ago who worked for red funnel. they did the same thing and got a really good response.
Problem was they failed completly to get the ship evacuated in the required time and took a bit of bad press because everyone there went home and said "dont go on Red Funnel! they cant evacuate a ship!"
Thankfully ive never had to evacuate a ship in practice or anger but i dont fancy it either way!
