Order.....Order....

Returning to the original and sad thread US casulaties have averaged over a thousand a year since the invasion in 2003. Vietnam averaged 5 times this. Both are the grisly by product of US foreign policy.

Whether the future will bear out the sacrifice made in human life in Iraq will be debatable if it's ever known. Sadly the justification for what boild down to "regime change" has all but eroded to dust. Very much doubt we'll ever hear the truth on that one.

"Non-boating discussion, tech talk, jokes, gratuitous babble" is what it says

Well said Codders thats exactly what this section is for and I think ribnet forum should be applauded for having this section where members can discuss other subjects but then I dont think JK. is blinkerd or narrow minded but if this still offends you please post a list of subjucts we are allowed to talk about
Thanks Milan I won't be back here........

The buzzword now is "freedom" for Iraqis. The Iraqis need this like the Native Americans needed occupation for "salvation".

Politics warmongering attacks on Labour etc are frowned upon by JK, in these forums, Other Stuff doesnt mean discussing the UK Invasion of Iraq or the related war, Other Stuff is not a place to bore us with babble, and pollitically misplaced views etc

Lets keep it RIB RELATED

Gavin,

after a few pints it's understandable to want to ramble on about nothing in particular - but this really isn't the place for a half p*ssed gurrier.

Thanks.
