A few years ago, I was on a white shark cage diving trip to Isla Guadalupe off the coast of western Mexico. While not in the cage, we were fishing for pelagics that show up (mostly Yellowtail and Yellowfin Tuna.)

A deckhand hooked into what would have been a 40 to 50 lb Yellowfin; despite reeling like crazy, he didn't quite get it back to the boat. Pic shows the aftermath.
