Wouldn't you know it.

De winterised the engine
Checked tubes
Cleaned the boat out
Fitted new radio
Dusted off the camping gear
Made passage plan.

Already to go for an Easter Mini Cruise then the surgeon calls me tells me the OP I have been waiting for is on 1 April, double checked the date.

So I am already to go boating and now i have a couple of months of recuperating after spinal surgery, was hoping to have some time to go boating this spring before the OP but no joy. Hopefully ill be back on the water mid summer depending on recovery time.

Glad the surgery is finally here wish i could have got out this spring though.

That's life
The boat will still be there (hopefully ) when you have recovered. Something to speed your return to fitness.
Hope all goes well with the OP.

It's a small price to pay for better health. As a fellow back patient (no surgery yet just lots of pain and occasional motor loss) I know how it feels. Be very good on the recovery. Don't push it. A few extra weeks or months of being good in rehab can make or break the outcome for a lifetime.

This is my website. I have been treating people with back problems for 20 years in December. This is not an advert just I want to help people. Even though you maybe a distance away if you inbox me I will try my best.

Your desire to help people is commendable but any further promotional posts for your business will require a trade membership. Previously I would PM this information, but unfortunately some Trade Members used to complain that "so and so" was getting away with it so I'm flagging it here in the interests of transparency.

BTW, The rules allow you to put your website address in your Signature line. Feel free...

Well Surgery was cancelled on the 1st April, surgeon had to do 2 Emergency procedures on that day.

Got a new date, this Saturday, and got bumped up to first class.

As the surgeon does private and NHS I have been moved to the Spires as he wants to get the op done as soon and he had a space.

So I may be back on the water in 2-3 months, here's hoping anyway.
