My advice is NEVER buy a car on ebay. I have and regretted it. If you must, go and look at it first if it's local but don't bid or buy it now without looking at it and taking it for a decent test run. Better still get an AA inspection. If the slightest thing seems odd/dodgy then walk away.

All depends how it's worded - my Disco was described as "mint" and it also said it drove "mint" as well. I made it clear to the seller as long as it was EXACTLY as described then I would give him the money.

Not with a barge pole! I wouldn't buy any car from any guy called Shane let alone a car that's on the register.

Check out the last things he sold. He has about 5 cars at least that sold for under a grand!!
Business must be doing very well to be able to sell something like that.
Also the pictures on his last ebay items were much better than that camera phone!
I wouldn't buy anything from ebay without seeing it. (People I know have been conned)

Some Fords are kinda nice. That Aston Martin DBwhatever in the latest Bond movie is a Ford I wouldn't mind driving.
Now that I think about it, it seems a natural fit that Ford has been buying up all these British automakers. Now Ford can combine their legendary quality control and reliability with that of, say... Jaguar. You can be sure that Toyota/Lexus are quaking in their boots as I type this.
(I'd best go into hiding now - maybe Mr. Rushdie knows of a good spot or 2)

How dare you!!! Just because Ford owns them doesn't make them Fords - Land Rover are still made on the same production line they have always been and fortunately not too many Ford parts are used either.
Astons are made in Gaydon near Stratford - good old Will Shakspeares area. The old factory was the best though - at Newport Pagnell - craftsmanship was out of this world - the factory was like a museum - loved it.
Ahh but I know where Mr Rushdie used to hide out - a place called Upper Chapel between Brecon and Builth in Wales. No wonder they couldn't find him - really is the back of beyond - awesome roads for an Aston though!!!

the Moda is what made the car. Ya the Alu body was nice, but you could get it with a 4 banger (4cyls) or a 289 (small v8) not the Same car.
AC427Cobra 1965, one of the Most powerful cars ever offered to the public on this Planet, ever.
