Actually this is easier than it looks - all the hard work was probably done on a computer beforehand - it is merely a matter of physics.
Having said that there is no room for error - if he get's it slightly wrong he will be very dead.
It is an awesome stunt and looks very impressive. Coming down was probably worse and harder to do.
Apparently a few years ago somone landed a light aircraft on a skyscraper using a similar technique - a stall/pancake landing - crows do it all the time!!!

codprawn - I am sure with a few phone calls we could get the exact same riggers to recreate the exact same stunt for you. It will cost a bit - but with a RIBnet whipround I am sure we can cover the costs... which day suits you to prove your point?
