Youth Development Funding

I keep hearing on the news etc about schools getting government funding to send disillusioned kids out on adventures. Latest local one was a trip to RNAS Yeovilton, and there's a write up from Thames RIB on one of the sites. Is anyone involved in this with taking them boating ? How do you bid for funding, or is it all done through individual schools ? I can't help but think it's great that I get to do this sort of thing with cadets, but would be even better if I could get paid for it, and also reach out to kids who wouldn't think of joining cadets.

Just the initial ramblings of an idea, thought I'd let you guys tear it apart before I bother the real world with it !

Disillusioned is part of growing up. I'm sure it's not what you mean?

You did ask to be torn apart...
