6.2m Osprey
The time has come to sell my Osprey Vipermax as I no longer have a 4WD car so I am having to down size.
She’s a brilliant, hardy, 6.2m with 150hp Evinrude DI 2004 extra long shaft outboard with less than 400 hours on. Service history available. Last serviced 11/2019 but due to COVID and no longer having a 4WD there has been very little use on the engine since this service (less than 1 hour). A sea trial would not be possible however I am able to hook the engine up to a hose water supply to demonstrate the engine running well. Engine is secured to transom with a McGuard Premium Outboard Lock bolt. Wheel clamp and trailer board included.
2008 Degraaf 1800kg Roller Trailer with bearing savers. New axel and locking head fitted in December 2017. In-built hitch lock comes with 2 keys.
Hull and tubes (5 chambers) were brand new in 2007 with grip-wear patches professionally added in 2017. Hull is damage and crack free and all seat pods open for storage with wrap around seat backs on the front seats. The stern currently has a storage box which is custom made to be easily removed to have an extra-large open area. A bench seat used to be fitted here and is included in the sale – it has a reversible rear which could easily be re-attached with fibreglass. A new 180L under deck fuel tank was fitted in 2017 along with a keel guard.
Double console helm. Houses twin batteries (both good and kept charged), in helm oil tank and a false floor for storage. Lockable glove box (2 keys). Wrap around screen and grab rails. 2 x Raymarine A65 chart plotters (one has a depth finder module fitted and would only require a transducer to be fitted to have this function available). Both has cartography (maps) and works as GPS chart plotters, so double redundancy. DSC VHF Standard Horizon GX1300E Eclipse fixed radio which is ATIS ready (new in 2018). Multifunction Evinrude tachometer/gauge fitted (water pressure, voltage, trim/tilt, fuel gauge). Off/1/2 or both isolator switch. 6 way waterproof switch panel with some spare capacity with resettable fuses. Switches for both GPS’s, VHF, lights and bilge pump. Bow anchor locker with 7.5kg anchor, chain and rope. Comes with warps and manual air pump. Sea Star Hydraulic steering – lock to lock is 3 wheel turns, 8 spoke steering wheel
She cruises at a nice 26/28 knots and WOT is about 37 knots. She’s a great dry boat and rough water handling is excellent.

- 4 additional great condition stainless steel props (21’’, 2x19’’ and 17’’)
- A spare metal stern pole (this was removed during a renovation in 2017 so that an auxiliary engine could be attached)

- 2 x Life-jackets, 1 x buoyancy aid
A really great boat which has given me so much enjoyment – it will be hard to see her go but unfortunately, I just tow her with my small car.
