For Sale is my 2004 Coastline RIB 6.5m with Cummins Mercruiser 120hp (1.7diesel) engine. £11,995 ono.
This is a B category RIB which is the highest category for a RIB allowing it to go offshore in inclement weathers and with the distinctive V hull remains a very dry boat in various conditions and sea state. This is an excellent family boat with two (2) side by side jockey seats and a reversible rear bench for 2 people who can sit facing front or rear. There is also a seat in front of the console. This also has a small swin deck and ladder at the stern ideal for fishing and swimming from. There is a folding table that fits into the deck and a full cover for the boat with windows that I have never used. Reason for sale is I am sailing more and regretably cannot have a rib and a yacht
The engine being an inboard diesel is both economical and reliable with access to red marine diesel compared to both 4 stroke and especially 2 stroke petrol engines. I have had the fuel “polished,” 120l inboard fuel tank cleaned and an inspection hatch fitted earlier this year.
Both sponsons are made of Hypalon which is very strong compared to PVC and never require any air.
I have the original documents and receipts (see pic). Just before I purchased the boat the last owner (a friend) having owned it for 7 years prior had a large service completed (see pic) just prior to Covid. I have maintained that service history ensuring the witerising and yearly service was continued with the last service completed on 13/5/2023.
This comes with a Lowrace LVR-250 marine VHF Radio, Garmin GPS 550 map, Garmin echo 500C. A radio that I have never used to be honest. Two (2) new marine batteries fitted for the engine and auxiliaries with an isolator for each. Two (2) automatic bilge pumps for the engine bay and deck area. There is an anchor with chain with warp in the anchor bow locker. There is ample storage under the seat in front of the console and rear bench which are both lockable. There is also storage under both jockey seats. I have a new fire extinguisher I will provide. Nav lights all round and a fixed stainless-steel cleat at the bow. Stainless Steel propeller.
This boat was mainly used on a freshwater loch in Scotland by the previous owner and the hull and now sits on a floating RIB dock so never been antifouled.
Coastline RIBs have an excellent reputation, especially in relation to their hull design and build quality having owned Zodiac, Ribcraft and Valiant in the past.
I also have a Nicholson NT1800 roller trailer with lightboard and a spare wheel which I was planning on keeping however can consider selling if part of a deal. This trailer would cost over £3100 new without the spare wheel. (see pic)
