Avon Searider 5.4 FOR SALE - OFFERS
-I've just refurbed this Avon Searider 5.4
Heres what has been done:
New marine grade wiring throughout,
New switch panel,
New distribution Box.
New steering cable
New throttle & gear cable.
New detachable Garmin GPS and fish-finder, the sensor on the transom.
New Console built by my friend at West Coast Ribs. (Two access panels. 1 is for more storage)
New Compass.
Bench seat fitted. £2.2k new from Liverpool powerboats. ( folds forward to storage & Fits another 25litre spare fuel tank inside plus loads of extra storage space. )
Electric Bilge.
New rubbing strakes.
New lifelines.
New tube seat pads.
Freshly Painted tubes with Hyperlon paint.
Hull sanded, primed and 2 coats of anti-foul.
None slip deck paint.
Fresh Gel coated aft end on the transom.
Mooring lines, tube pump and anchor set up.
New fuel filter and fuel lines
Probably alot more to mention.
The engine is Suzuki 65 2 Stroke. 1997.
Electric start & Electric trim
Fresh gearbox oil and new impeller fitted. Removed carbs and cleaned.
Now for the bad bit:
*I have taken the Searider out twice now and cannot diagnose the fault with the running of the engine, it reaches max speed and accelerates fine for a few minutes and then bogs down, and then is fine again. it revs up fine but not sure why she is lacking power now and then.
I don't have the facility's and time to diagnose her, unfortunately, so this would suit someone who could fix the engine or someone who has a replacement larger engine which the Searider could accommodate.

New Hubs filled with (water resistant grease filled) and new jockey wheel.
