For sale: Classic 1977 Avon Searider SR4. Very good condition throughout - no repairs to the tubes and they hold air indefinitely. I’ve had this knocking around for about nine months - have slowly been replacing bits and getting it back to immaculate original condition but work takes me abroad again for a significant period at the end of this month so this won’t get finished for at least another year. Photos do most of the talking. There are still a few cosmetic bits to finish such as gluing on the new eye patches (included along with glue) and refinishing the dashboard (correct RAL colour spray paint included). The engine needs final rigging - remotes and cables included, and steering is already fitted. The engine cowl needs repainting as it’s a bit scratched (or you could buy a cowl cover). Basically it’s a nearly finished project. Ideal to get ready for next season! There are a few other bits and pieces that come with it including a basic depth sounder. £1950 ovno. It’s currently in Norfolk but I can tow it down to Hampshire when I’m down there in a week or two.
