Ex RNLI Y-Class Inflatable SIB
Reluctant sale of my Ex RNLI Y Class, I've owned it for about 7 years. Had a lot of fun in it. (Lots of photos of it on this forum). However since buying a RIB its not had any use for the last 2 1/2 years. It was in service at brighton from 1996 to 2011.
First off this is a serious SIB, not a RIB. And it is heavy, and is not the type of boat to roll up and chuck in the back of your car.
For collection purposes it does roll up, but the floor is a single piece so you will need a large car/van or a roofrack to carry that.
Its a 1996 boat, built by Avon for the RNLI, they used a 15hp on them, I have had a 25hp on it. It is 3.5m long. There is no CE plate.
Includes everything in the photos except the compass and fuel tank, which are avaliable by separate negotiation.
Photos of it in the garden were taken last week. Other photos show it in use. It needs a good clean, and the edges of some patches gluing down. But otherwise its solid and easily has another 20 years life left in it.
