The Rib is a 2021 hull and was fitted out and first launched in 2021, it is a twin stepped Adam Younger designed hull capable of 52 knots.* It is really well laid out with 2 double jockey seats & 3-person rear bench, all upholstery is in really good condition and was new with the boat in 2021. There is also a seat in front of console and bow seat. Under the console is storage for lifejackets tow rope (comes with the boat) and various other items. It has full custom stainless work which is capable of easily towing a wakeboarder or a boat, it has been purpose built for towing sailing boats.
The engine is a favourite of any race crew and is actually in big demand due to its power output v four strokes. Great power from the V6, two-stroke Mercury Optimax 200hp Outboard which is a 2006 with twin displays. It was fully serviced in March 2023 and also had the bottom gearbox seals replaced which cost around £1200.00 (receipts come with the boat). The engine has around 1000 hours, but these engines run to 5000 hours so has plenty of life left in it. The advantage of the two stroke is the instant power and the low effort/noise once the boat is planning on the two step hull, it is a really fun boat especially for donutting and wakeboarding - but it is also very easy to dive, manoeuvre and park.
It has a carbon fibre grab handle, a 2021 Mavimare Hydraulic Steering system, a fully custom modern switch panel*and Raymarine Hybrid Touch screen 7” Chart Plotter.*The Raymarine I50 Depth Sounder*is in good order, it has really fantastic modern LED Nav lights*and a red LED downlighting*for the deck below the console - no expense spared on this equipment and all looks fantastic too. Twin fuel tanks with changeover valve with independent senders and gauges, self-draining deck, bilge sump tank with separate bilge pump plus an additional auto bilge pump. It also had a new, heavy duty marine battery fitted in 2022 and comes with a full cover which was new in 2021
RIB’s as good as this, that are this much fun to drive don’t come up very often. This is one of the few pleasure craft Adam Younger designed (he is a race boat designer) and his pedigree shows through at every angle. This is a £35k RIB all day long, the only reason we are selling it is we need a cash injection for our business!
It is currently in HYS Dry Stack in Hamble which is paid up until 1st April 2024, so that is also available and can be negotiated if needed.
