Humber Destroyer 5.5 with Mariner Optimax 90hp
Boat was produced in 2008 and http://www.friendsofcardiganbay.org/history.html) had it new in 2009 as a demo with 50 hours on it. FoCB is a local environmental NGO that now wishes to cease with its nautical operations and a decision was made back in May to dispose of this asset. We are in West Wales.
Amazing Optimax engine very economical engine (next generation 2 strokes) has around 400/450hrs on it and never ever had a problem.
It has always been washed out in fresh river water after sea use.
Always maintained very well with one experienced skipper and never thrashed.
2018: new impellor, plugs, filters etc.
Anchor chain and warp
Lifebuoys, Lifejackets, vhf, flares, fire extinguishers etc.
Fitted bilge pump, horn.
90l fuel tank under consul

Stainless A frame with Radar reflector
Twin batteries (both good) and isolation switches.
Lowrance sounder and chart plotter.
3.3 Tohatsu aux. (great little engine). Hardly used.
The boat has been Antifouled as it’s moored in a harbour during the summer. The Stern was built up slightly for original coding although the boat was never used commercially. Tubes are all good with over inflation valves fitted, slight fading in places and usual signs of wear in places, but still clean up reasonably well.
SBS trailer, recent tyres and had a brand new Alko Axle fitted Sep last year along with new drums, hubs, brakes, brake cables etc.
As this boat has been antifouled and since putting it in the water (last week) the Smartcraft Sc1000 digital gauge is refusing to work at the moment (connection issue somewhere) but engine still runs perfectly with its own internal guardian system. An asking price for a quick sale of around £8000 is a very good deal for somebody and a lot of boat for the money in good sea going condition with basically a new trailer. No silly offers please?
