She's a terrific sea boat and went well with the engines; it's a pity that Ribcraft stopped making the 5.5. This is an old boat and will not suit someone looking for something 'flashy'; she's functional and comfortable! The tubes are hypalon. They exhibit some discoloration and sun damage and there are a couple of minor leaks that won't challenge anyone with semi decent repair skills. I'm a pretty good solutionist but have never got round to the repairs as the tubes hold air for about five hours before there is any worrisome softening.
There's a terrible repair on the underside of the port sponson (pictured) made, I assume, by a previous owner but it has never bothered me; I'd planned to repair it when it let me down (I've had the boat for about 13 years and that never happened). The long and the short is that, given some care and attention, these tubes are good for at least another 12 years. This will make an excellent rebuild project for someone with a little skill that wants to acquire a great rib at low cost. The boat location is Margate, contact Guy on 07901517244
I have plenty more pictures of the boat and some video (shot 15/06/18) showing the engines starting, running, revving and tilting.
Price - £2750 (THE LOT!)
