Ribeye Tender 290 with Yam 30hp - £6,000 ono
So that time has come... our son Luke’s little Ribeye ‘Anubis’ is sadly going up for sale... 😢😢😢😢
We searched high and low for a small RIB with a proper centre console for our son to get out on the water before finding this Tender 290, with the factory-fit console in place.
We have spent over £3,000 on this with Bill Higham Marine getting it just-so (brand-new Extreme trailer, brand-new 30hp powerhead, full engine respray and new graphics on the engine, new starter motor, new soleoid, new fuel line, new battery cables, new battery, new steering mechanism, new isolator switch, new kill switch, etc).
Alas, due to cataclysmic failure of the tubes on our Ballistic, the little Ribeye has got to go to help fund a full retube.
Gutted to be selling this when we had just got it bang on, but needs must... This may be small in size, but it is big on fun and smiles-per-miles - Luke has been in some big seas out to the Skerries and around the Stacks off Anglesey and this little thing handles it with aplomb. And with 30hp on the back end, it certainly gets up and goes! With the centre console with a windscreen and chrome rail, it looks like a 'proper' RIB that has shrunk in the wash!
There is a bit of fading on the tubes and the seat, but she still looks a tidy little boat and now, with all of the mechanicals sorted, is ready to hit the water. Dead easy to push launch due to being so small and light, and you could tow it behind pretty much anything!
£6,000 ono. (Currently on Anglesey, but could be brought back to North Shropshire)
